Stop what you’re doing. Now. These pretzels are fantastic, and you need to make them.
I took a much needed 4 hour nap today (which I never ever do, but there’s a first time for everything!), so my sleep schedule is a little thrown off now. It’s 11:30 and I’m making pretzel balls. I’m usually fast asleep, since I’m a grandma and all. But man, staying up late is beyond worth it for these little guys.
My dad and I always made pretzels when I was a kid, and I remember it as an arduous (though super fun!) process. Not this recipe! It’s actually so easy. Just follow the directions and you’ll have little balls (I prefer pretzel balls over shaped) of fluffy goodness in no time! My suite mates and I are guiltily waiting by the toaster oven right now for the second batch. I’ve never seen these girls move as fast as when the first tray got plated; it was hilarious.
So, what are you going to do now? Right, make pretzels! 🙂
