This recipe is intended to make salted caramel chocolate chip cookie bars (which are to die for, by the way), but the dough recipe for the cookie part is outstanding. I made a batch yesterday and they were a hit! When making the cookies, make sure that you give the dough enough chilling time and roll the balls in a more oblong shape then circle. I know it sounds funny, but I think it’s a little secret to keeping the cookie “fat!” (as one of my suitemates put it). It has been freezing lately, so warm cookies were very welcome. You can’t go wrong with the classics!
